Candyman 2 – Farewell to the Flesh

Year: 1995
Directed By: Bill Condon
Starring: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

New Orleans, just before Mardi Gras. A school teacher fights to clear the name of her brother, who has been charged with murder. Murder which resembles the work of Daniel Robitaille, the Candyman. As she dives deeper into her family’s past, she learns of the Candyman’s history, his death, and his rebirth.. and the family connection which binds them together.

Though still a good story, as with most sequels, this story is not as gripping as it’s predecessor. I did like the backstory, and once more, Tony Todd is great as the Candyman.
