When a videographer answers a Craigslist ad for a one-day job in a remote mountain town, he finds his client is not at all what he initially seems.

I have to say that this movie ended just how I thought it would. There’s no real big surprise at the end. But the beginning and the end is not what this movie is. This is not a Story about anything.. this is a video record of a psychopath meeting his victim and the follow through.

Much like the Blair Witch Project, I can appreciate this movie for what it was, not what you want it to be. In “Creep” we see no 3rd party shots, and no use of the camera when it’s not supposed to be there. So, in this light.. it works, this is a good “Found Footage” movie.

The acting is sufficiently creepy by Mark Duplass. There are no special effects to speak of. No extras, no expensive scenes. The crew rented a cabin and filmed for 1 day. (yes, really.. only 1 day). However, as much as I can praise this production for its realism. The same points that make it a good found-footage, also makes it relatively hard to watch with improved lines and mediocre camera work.

If you are a fan of the found-footage genre, then I say go for it.

Personally speaking, this story had a big sign that said “NOPE” all over it.
