When Sir Hugo Cunningham spies a mysterious smudge on photographs of those in the grip of death, he devices a way to trap the spirit of death to gain immortality. But, with what price will he pay when he lives forever…

This is very much 1970’s British horror. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. The story isn’t bad, the acting is good. The special effects.. well, it’s 1973.. so, for the time it’s ok. Just keep that in mind while watching.

This is a movie that was recommended to me by my good friend Winter Laurel, as it was the first horror movie she can remember watching. I’m not sorry I saw it.. and honestly, I’d like to see this one remade.

By today’s standards, it’s more than tame. perfectly safe for the kids.
